Grandma's Getting Feisty!

Randy told Grandma that she's sure getting feisty in her old age.

Grandma said, "Well I'm trying."

Randy told her she needs to be more quiet and obedient.

Grandma said, "that's long gone."

"That is if you like dogs!"

Grandma said "that's a cute little dog isn't it?" She then smile mischievously and said "that is if you like dogs!"

Oops, Five Eccentric Souls

Four Eccentric Souls

Grandma & Errol

When Errol was a senior in high school he lived in Grandma's house; she lived in her 5th wheel, just outside the back door. She loved to fix food for Errol and worry about his every need. She still refers affectionately to him as her "sweet boy."

Even though her mind isn't as sharp, her spirit can still sense a very special soul.  Her ear can hear a good heart.

Out To Lunch Bunch

Lunch With Laura and Amelia

Last month Amelia and Laura made a special trip to Pocatello, taking Grandma out to lunch. She fretted for several days about what to wear for the occasion. As always she knew the event was special enough to warrant wearing pink. After lunch they took a drive, listened to funny stories, laughed and hoped Grandma would remember for a while the fun day. Afterward she talked for weeks about how sweet it was for Randy's girls to do something so nice.

Grandma Green and Tessa

Despite Grandma's haziness almost every time she drives by Tessa Lane she asks how Tessa is doing?

"This fabric sure is cheap."

Grandma will spend hours folding dish cloths and towels. She loves to feel useful and doesn't like others working while she is sitting around. She complained for quite some time about how awful and cheap these dish cloths were.

"If your big enough to do it, go right ahead."

Grandma kept closing her eyes for this picture. After the fourth picture I teasingly told her that if she closed her eyes again I would have to slap her. She said "well if you think your big enough to do it go right ahead."

The Rest is History

Betty and Grandma use to work at the hospital together. Grandma was the cashier, Betty was the biller from Bannock and Grandpa was the volunteer courier between the hospital and the doctors offices. One day he told Betty that he didn't think there was anybody in Pocatello to date. Betty asked him why he didn't take out Oma Lee. Grandpa didn't realize that she was single.  Betty arranged a hot date with the three of them to the Idaho Falls Temple. They never asked her to date with them again. The rest is history.

Loving on Adam

"You must be a really good friend."

Today I was helping Grandma with her intimate bathroom duties. When we were done she said, "you must be a really good friend to do that."

Family Makes Great Friends

Loving on Rachel

"Those things just aren't very much fun."

Comfortable Couple

Grandpa Green has worked diligently keeping Grandma safe and out of trouble.

Tender

"I really love you too."

Tanner told Grandma Green that he really loved her. Grandma said to him "you know grandma I really love you too."

"He is trying to woo me!"

Grandma Green was flirting with Travis, affectionately known as Jarvis. Kaitlin asked her what they were talking about? She said, "he is trying to woo me!"

"Woot, Woot!"

"You be a good girl."

"I sure hope they get something beautiful from me!"

Kaitlyn told Grandma that she hopes her kids got her beautiful blue eyes. Grandma said "well I sure hope they get something beautiful from me!"

"What is this in my hand?"

We All Love You!

"I love you, I love you, I love you!"

"I'm alive, I thought I was dead."

Grandma had a really bad fall last Tuesday at 1:30 in the morning. She fell into the closet and hit her arm on the door jamb. We called the ambulance because we thought she had broke her arm. After a visit by the Inkom QRU and the Pocatello paramedics they decided she was just really banged up. The following day we took her to the doctor and they determined that she had an infection and started her on antibiotics. After a day on the medicine she woke up in the morning and the first thing she said was "I'm alive, I thought I was dead".

"We're not going to play that game."

Kim tried to convince Grandma Green today that she was her favorite. Grandma wouldn't here of it.
"We're not going to play that game" she said.

"There's a lot of us here so go ahead and jump on in".

"Kassidy you look so mature"

My Little Family

On several occaisons Grandma Green has tried to convince us that this is her little family and her little boys and of course one little girl too.

Loving on Kassidy

"These are the important ones."

"What is the deal here?"

Now what is the deal here? Don't let me loose my balance or I'll knock thinks every which way!
